The testimonials below reflect only a few of our clients who have chosen to write to us on our Facebook page when we added that option a couple of months ago. We have since decided to post our reviews and testimonials on our Website instead; to better organize them into specific projects to make it easier for you find comments that are more closely related to a project that you want done. "Today's remodels are allot more involved than the days when our dad would do it himself. There are so many details, options, regulations, challenges, etc. What used to be something that could be tackled by ourselves, just can't anymore. Especially if you have a job yourself! Having someone there to make sure all the pieces are happening according to MY plan was invaluable.
Kelly was a critical part of our kitchen remodel by making sure that these various details and options were addressed. For example, when the contractor said "this is what we'll do", Kelly said "not only are there other ways to do it, but ways that are far better looking and more functional". Her experience in the design side helped bring those options into the project. And her real hands on experience of doing the work herself meant that she could speak the same language as the contractor - no hiding things from her!!
Sure, there are some contractors out there that don't want a separate designer involved, but it means that they can't do things their way. But isn't it MY kitchen? I wanted to make sure I had it all worked out on paper before the first hole was punched!
I have been thoroughly in love with my kitchen since it was finished. Everything is well thought out, the lighting is positioned well, the functionality of the areas are all as I had hoped they would be. I haven't seen anyone's kitchen where I said, "gee, i wish I had done that instead" because Kelly and I thought about allot of different options beforehand to make it truly what worked for my family!! Thank you Kelly!"

"We hired Kelly Hendricks and her company Gourmet Galleys and Loos to redesign the kitchen, living room and downstairs powder bathroom of our older Point Loma home.
All we can say is she's amazing!
Her combination of creativity and practical experience were fun to watch in action. Kelly had design suggestions that we never would have imagined, but the look was incredible. Like a rich metallic gold paint in the powder bathroom.
She found ways to make changes that make our home "fun", and from our Contractor's point of view were very do-able. For example, Kelly suggested we move a wall in the kitchen, which we didn't think was possible and turned an eyesore of a laundry room into a convenient attractive and very functional walk-in pantry.
She noticed other things that could be improved with very little cost. The end result is that she added a lot of value to the property.
We would hire her again in a heartbeat!"
